The Reaction

The Reaction

- INSTALLMENT 1:

The first episode ever to be released featuring DJ Jason and guest starring his friend McKayla (gosh I hope I spelled her name right). It also happens to be the first episode of Season 4: The Twilight of a New Era. AND the episode of Book 12 - The Reaction. NOT TO MENTION the first show that both DJs CJ and Kyle cried over the phone! What a show!

There's more to come...don't worry.

- INSTALLMENT 2:

I know. I know.

You all hate me. I could explain my late-itude with the uploading of the last two seasons, but I have said it all before and I am starting to get annoyed with myself (and if you have listened to our past episodes...you know that is impressive). Anyway, I uploaded the first installment of this book way back when I first got my hands on the recordings only to find that the second episode was broken in two and that the pieces need to be mushed together to make one complete story. Naturally, this provided the perfect opportunity to procrastinate.

But NO MORE! I am going to upload everything I can find tonight so that we can move on to bigger and better things. LIKE a possible Summer Edition? Not sure how this will work with CJ in Boston and Matthew Tongue reveling in his graduated-ness, but we shall see what we see. Anyway, here is Installment two of the Reaction!

- INSTALLMENT 3:

This one was a weird one. I hope you like starting a show with a huge musical segment, because that is how Matthew began installment 3. While it was entirely my fault, I am bound by ARDU Code of Conduct to blame CJ...because he obviously made me do it.

- INSTALLMENT 4:

There is something about a 4th installment that has never quite sat well with me. Not to mention...moohoohuHaHa-Ah-ah! It is the week before Halloween! Unfortunately, UPs campus was struck by a freak epidemic the week preceding this delightful holiday and several innocent by-standers were "infected" and sadly following the show the DJs had to put several of them down...including one of there own...

However, if I tell you the gruesome tale now, there wont be much reason to listen to the episode, so I will leave you to it.

... deet - dee-deet - deet - deet ... 3217 zombies were killed in the making of this episode.

Season 4: The Twilight of a New Era

With a name like that, how can you go wrong!

As the founding fathers of Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored begin to spread there wings and take-off - around the world for some (across the street for others) - DJ Matthew finds himself the last man standing in the studio where it all began, staring at the wall-art DJ Kyle left behind as a monument to the countless hours spent wasting time in the uncomfortable seating apparatuses and blathering senselessly across space and time via airwaves trapped in the KDUP stream. With a sigh, he sits down is his well worn chair facing the soundboard, the jukebox on his left, and an empty seat to his right. Memories race past his vision; the good times, and the bad.

The lone veteran of a million minutes (plus or minus) of airtime runs his hand across the knobs and levers of the console before him, stopping the motion just before reaching the mic button which had cut him so often before. Smiling to himself he reaches past the sound board...and grabs the first playshelf CD of the semester. Opening the case, he blinks back a single tear (heros never cry. They just get so close to tears that you think they will and THEN...they have to turn around and fight the next bad guy).

That is when the door to the studio opens. For one fleeting moment, the sun shining over the shoulder of a shadowy figure framed in the doorway, Matthew expects to here the shout of "ANIMORPHS!" Squinting and shielding his eyes, he tries to make out the face of the new arrival, but the setting sun is too bright and the figure is standing in the most epic spot imaginable which prevents Matthew from discerning who he is until the precise moment of utmost impressiveness. At that moment - that perfectly timed moment - DJ Jason steps forward and Matthew lowers his hand.

The seconds tick by as the two DJs stare at one another, no words spoken, but each understanding the other as much as two DJs who have never worked together and are fully aware that they have two hours of 5th grade reading level literature a week to read CAN understand each other.

"Are you ready for this?" Matthew asks the new-comer, the novice, the recruit.

Jason steps forward again, slowly smiling and pulling his book from his bag.

"I was born ready. What the carp are we waiting for! I am totally prepared to kick this books aft and finish it in record time pausing only to point out the most Brown-Chicken-Brown-Cow moments between Cassie and Jake and those that are hawkward between Rachel and Tobias! And in the words of Rachel, Let's do it!"

Blinking once, DJ Matthew shakes his head and returns to the playshelf organization.

"Oh, and I brought a friend is that cool?" Jason says as another figure takes his place in the door frame, obscured by the last remnants of sunlight lancing over the Chapel and beami-

"yeah that's fine, we're already late and we have a long semester ahead of us. So, can we get this show on the road?

The Change

The Change

- INSTALLMENT 1:

Of all the books that I have claimed are my favorites, this is my favorite among them. This book is awesome. Sadly we didn't get to it whilst I was still an official DJ, but I was there in spirit if not in character. Rocky start, third person conversations, recaps galore, and Tobias rocking the narration! Only we could screw this up....but we will try as hard as possible not to.

- INSTALLMENT 2:

There is a new band on the market! Metalhawk (said in that awesome dark voice that does all the movie previews) and - yes - Shaquille O'neil exposing himself as a Hork Bajir! Not exposing himself, but coming out as a -

...nevermind. Oh and a couple of puns! Enjoy!

- INSTALLMENT 3:

Without a slow start, you wont appreciate the epic-ness of the episode. Once the initial hiccup-itry is out of the way, DJ Matthew and DJ Jason completely demolish the rest of the book, and the good kinda demolish not the bad kind.

**AND for the record: Matthew did NOT let me know that people were freaking out about the website being down, but I did assume it was the case. Sorry again for the delay on this whole thing. Once I finish getting caught up I hope to make uploading a lot smoother and I will be sure to keep an eye on the site in case things get buggy again.

The Unknown

The Unknown

- INSTALLMENT 1:

You know, I was just thinking: Do you think that KA dreaded writing Cassie books as much as we act like we dread reading them. I mean don't get me wrong, Cassie provides a different perspective on the whole war than all of the other characters, but I just get the feeling that Cassie books are a little more...forced than the rest of them. Anyway, just a thought. Not to set the tone for this one or anything, but this is a Cassie book.

Cassie rap, Reprimanding DJ Jason, Crazy Lady, Drunk horses, Cassie being Cassie-esque, a promise to give the listeners an ending by the end of the episode, and a whole lot more. OH and no DJ Matthew in the studio to make sure that the the mic levels were right (sorry ahead of time any clipping...actually, for all of the clipping)

The Unknown: Installment 1 Download

- INSTALLMENT 2:

First off, we don't have the lack of DJ Matthew excuse from the previous episode...sorry again for the levels.

B) No we didn't finish the book in the last episode, you have to listen to another Cassie episode which means tangents-a-plenty!

3. No we don't finish the book THIS episode, so you have to listen to ANOTHER Cassie episode after this one, but I wont promise anything on that one, because we may all be bored by the time we do it.

III. I like lists, but the lack of a *ding* sound effect after each attempt at a bullet really detracts from the effectiveness of said list.

And finally: *ding* Enjoy

The Unknown: Installment 2 Download

- INSTALLMENT 3:

I know for a fact that this book WAS finished...it's just a matter of getting my hands on a copy of the audio file...looks like the ball is in someone else's court! FINALLY! Gah! That is a great feeling. I should get this website updated more often. This is cool...I think I am going to grab a cup-o-coffee to celebrate!
