A half hour or so late maybe, with the possibility of a mixdown issue or two, but Summer Edition 5.5 repeating has officially been kicked off (insert ninja sound-effect) hoowaah!
Use the menu on the right to navigate to The Decision: Installment 1 to get the first taste of this new season (though it does seem to be numbered a little out of order....). If you can PLEASE right-click and save as to your home computer. If a bunch of people try to listen to the stream at the same time there may be some issues =S

The Decision

INSTALLMENT 1:

The date, for now, is June 20th, 2000 and 10. A day perched precariously on a pinpoint in time 1 decade, 6 months, 20 days and 10 hours passed a moment when mankind feared total annihilation from dangers unknown and un-understood. While not entirely relevant to Animorphs, this tid-bit of trivia brings us to the topic, al be it 1 year too late to do anything about it.

On this day we find CJ Hainley - a gentleman, a scholar, a DJ - 1 year in the past and preparing to embark on what may be the most important tangent of Animorphs: the Radio Drama; Uncensored history. He and his co-hosts Kyle Mechling and the Rite Reverend Matthew Tongue are about to set in motion a serious of events, beginning (for the record) at CJ's own hand, which may have tipped the balance of space and time to irreparable angles from which no returning will be possible.

After carefully calculating and calibrating CJ finishes the finishing touches on the small device he has situated on his desk and reaches for the recording device he plans to use to document the experiment which will eventually be the cause of a sizable rip in the space-time continuum!
............however, he forgot to grab his books in the excitement of flicking the "ON" switch for his TIME MACHINE!

INSTALLMENT 2:

Onward, forward, into battle. DJ CJ continues his monumentously awesome trek across the country and through time. Meanwhile, at a later date, the three DJs continue to follow the Animorphs in there fight to once a-gayn thwart the evil Visser 3 by plotting to put a halt to his devious plan to abduct the body of an important Secret Service Agent HA III (coincidence on the 3...not likely). What Ax and his friends DON'T realize is that they are about to be thwarted back!

Happy 4th of July, 2010! How better to celebrate it, really, than with another installment of AtRDU: SE 5.55555... - TFC!

thing to get to...fireworks and what not =S

Having helped the Animorphs thwart the Visser's attempts to murder an "innocent seagull" and inventing a new swear word so terrible that even they had to bleep it out, the DJs of Animorphs: The Radio Drama, UNCENSORED find themselves flying straight back into the fray as the Animorphs concoct there next plan to infiltrate the Yeerk semi-control hospital where lies Hewlett Aldershot the Third. Meanwhile, in a another time and place, CJ prepares to take his last and final hop back in time to the Pacific Time Zone where he hops to meet up with DJ Kyle...at least if all goes according to plan!

......hopefully it does....

INSTALLMENT 4:

This is easily the "Empire Strikes Back" of this particular Summer Edition. Kyle, Matt and CJ find themselves having to think of SEVERAL Andalite voices on the spot, Visser 3 squeezes in an Ad, and CJ leaves the show! (not forever or anything, just out to lunch...but STILL!). Not to mention the book! Previously, but at the same time, the trio meets in Salem after picking CJ up from the PDX airport.....FYI

Alright! Here goes.
As many of you may have seen on the Summer Edition trailer, we will be reading Book 18: The Decision and Megamorphs II: In the Time of Dinosaurs. Two Excellent books with plenty of material to geek out about....and yes we totally geek out. Each book will consist of six, 1-hour installments (and before you say, "Really!? Only an hour!?" let me tell you that they are full of the awesomeness that would normally fit in a 2-hour span). We pulled CJ out of Boston, dragged me away from Portland and landed once again in Salem (as is custom it would seem) to bring you these epic tales of gloriousness...ness.

So, on to more important things before I give too much away: The first episode (The Decision: Installment 1) will be posted on the website SUNDAY, June 20th (time yet to be determined...I am planning on having CJ run an optimization analysis to determine the best time to release them...he's big on time now-a-days). We will then release each episode that follows each Sunday there after until we are out of stuff to post, which will be around September 5th.

INSTALLMENT 1: Okay....don't freak out....but this is that third and final book in the trilogy! A Rachel book. And frankly, a book MADE for Rachel. A book perfectly designed to reveal her crazy side. A book meant to make you think, "whoa!....that....was....AWESOME!" A book which Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored is bringing you with all the excitement that they feel it deserves and more. Sit back and attempt to relax (but don't get too comfortable). Don't forget your seat belt. I give you....Installment 1 Enjoy. The Solution: Installment 1 Download INSTALLMENT 2: Gah! I hate David! Fortunately, that is what they were aiming for with his character, so I wont hold it against the author. I hope you followed my advice about the seat belt thing, because I was serious (or at least more serious than usual). This Installment is epic, to say the least. INSTALLMENT 1: *beep* Sorry for the inconvenience...but we are experiencing some minor difficulties due to some extremely minute miscalculations in our extravagantly simple recording process which has left us missing this episode with a small amount of confusion. To be brief I will just say that we are doing everything within our limited power to attempt to locate this lost recording among the few friends that we have and will be uploading it in the semi-near future. The Experiment

INSTALLMENT 1: Jeez...talk about screwin' up the levels. Sorry bout that folks, i guess just turn down your speakers in order to save them. The aux volume, Steven, and myself were way over-powered while the other Kyle's were semi-normal level. This is a three Kyle episode with myself current DJ Kyle, and Outback Kyle (or time-traveling Kyle, or Kyle that has been basically a fourth DJ) in commemoration of Outback Kyle going to Australia. Jason, apparently, was not allowed to talk because we had 5 DJs in the studio which, gets a little crowded. THIS is the cow book (which is why they brought me in), quite excitingly experimental....heh-heh. The Experiment: Installment 2 Download INSTALLMENT 2: Wow.....I thought the first installments levels were off....sheesh (sound of squeaking finger in ear) man! I highly recommend keeping your volume turned down on this one....I did all i could to get it under control. Honest. And it is actually better. Which should give you an idea of what my experience was when I turned it on at home......what was that? I can't hear you because MY EARS ARE BLEEDING Besides the levels being off, this was actually an awesome show. and the levels screw up only puts emphasis on the new phrase, "Noun your face!" Try to enjoy :) The Experiment: Installment 2 Download INSTALLMENT 3: My favorite part of the book...the slaughter house. I know, I know. I am a terrible person. But, in my defense: I have been dodging cows, burgers, cream cheese, blue cheese, cheese cheese, cheeze-wiz, cheez-its, milk, beef, jerky, jerks, Ice-cream, creamer, pies, cakes, and everything else that has even the slightest TAINT of cow in it for my ENTIRE life! So, I am sorry if my relishing in a couple of cows collecting their come-uppance offends anyone. In hind sight, i think my attempt to defend myself on the air and justify my feelings was actually the most disturbing... This concludes The Experiment. The Attack

INSTALLMENT 1: The Attack. Hands down one of my favorite books. I mean....Jake...Tiger.....crazy lookin' alien on dee inside cover....how can you go wrong. I was extremely disappointed in myself for not barging into the studio and demanding that I be given a seat to read from. But. Alas. Work. Anyways, the boys in the booth rocked it fine. The news about the re-release of the Animorphs series...and btw - HA! I posted before 2013! HA! *spoiler alert* Howlers are freakin' awesome! And I am afraid I disagree with the pronunciation of Crayak. I prefer Cray (like gray) Ack (like you're screaming...without out the loudness...more like your reading it out of a comic book....or jus-) The Attack: Installment 1 Download INSTALLMENT 2: Aftermath of a battle always seems like the best place to come back into a book. The Suspicion

INSTALLMENT 1: Now before you all get excited about the first Helmacron book, I have to tell you...I think this one was destined for failure. While not my favorite books, the Helmacron's are not without their own special entertainment factor, so the guys had some great ideas, but the studio would have NONE of that. For some reason KDUPs stream cut out toward the beginning of this episode and I fear that it has been lost. But at least we got to do the Helmacron's voices a little bit before the rest of the show was lost to the void (props to Jason on the vocal choice). The Suspicion: Installment 1 Download INSTALLMENT 2: Yeah, I am pissed too. This episode was awesome. Now it is gone. the recording didn't work on my end OR their end and the whole show went up in a puff of smoke. Like I said - Destined for failure. INSTALLMENT 3: THIS one was alright! The recording worked, the levels were semi okay and the book got finished on time (not that you have heard the rest of it), but a relatively good show. Buuut, I screwed up and forgot to show up for the last installment. Jason was none-too-pleased. Yet in comparison to the rest of the failures on this book, I would say this ranks about a 4. Let Me Explain...

Many of you are probably wondering why we have a lot of gray-ed out episodes off to the right. And frankly you are right to wonder. So, I feel it is high time I explained the situation to the fans via a friendly post :) First: The original triumvirate had a few episodes that went missing in the confusion of skateboarding back and forth across campus, doing the show, racing back to stop recording, darting over to the COVE for their post-production pow-wow, and finally cutting and pasting the audio into the appropriate location to await final editing and postage. So there are a few scattered episodes throughout the early season that have sadly been lost in technical void between wires and mouse-clicks. Second: The Lost Season of Lostitude (Season 5). This was the season after CJ and myself graduated. Matthew record all (or most) of their episodes and kept them safely on the the KDUP computer in the studio. Unfortunately, Jason and Matt for got to pull the episodes off the computer when Matthew was in the middle of graduating and the University, in all of its infinite wisdom, closed Matts account as soon as they passed him his Diploma and shook his hand. Jason and the guys in the studio have been working with the campus IT people to reclaim the episodes from the clutches of security firewalls and protocol, but my hopes have been gradually diminishing. Third: The newest episodes. The guys in the studio now-a-days had a rocky start with their recording techniques. I blame myself partly, and CJ for the rest of it, since I started off the season recording their shows and posting them when they were finished. My stream however proved to be finicky and I stopped, so the guys had to record on their own, all of a sudden like and missed a few episodes. I do, however, currently have the episodes that have been recorded and am doing some tweaking to them in order to even out the peaks and valleys in the waveform and compress them to reasonable MP3 size. The only thing keeping me from finishing them is my computer...which has decided to choose NOW to start giving me trouble. I swear things start to breakdown as SOON as I need them to cooperate. Anyways that is the scoop. If Jason, Steven and Kyle can't pull the 5th Season off the computer, we may be trying to sneak into KDUP to do some re-recording over spring break, but no promises yet. The new episodes will start getting posted tonight hopefully, but with my computer eating itself from the inside out, it may be slow going getting all of them up. Thanks for your patience, and as SOON as we are caught up I will send word through the Facebook site, the Fan Page, and put a posting on the website.

The Exposed

- INSTALLMENT 1: Sweet! They got a girl into the studio...wow, that sounded a lot less nerdy in my head... This is a book fuuuuulll of hawkward moments. And what would you expect with Rachel getting asked out by Tobias Two...or T.T. as they call him in the book. More importantly (for some) the Chee have a serious problem...they're broked. And they blame their ship at the bottom of the ocean. The phantom caller strikes again...proving that he exists and that it was not our failure to press the right buttons. As I have said before, I am sorry, listeners and readers, for not posting to this website for a while. Its been a long few months. HOWEVER, I just want you all to know that we here at Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored DO care. So, to prove it, and to prove to those listeners who have noticed a lack of a summer edition being posted for a while that we are actually doing something - we present our very first trailer: Season 5.555: The Fringe of Civilization Trailer - Download To be honest: We didn't plan on doing this at all. But, like so many other things that we do on our show, this started as a "wouldn't it be funny if..." comment thrown out in passing. Unfortunately for us this usually means that we are going to try something new...SO here it is, the Teaser Trailer for Season 5.55555555...: The Fringe of Civilization. This season will be released in installments throughout this 2010 summer beginning sometime in June (in case your summers are weird and start either way earlier or way later than U of P's) and will be uploaded to the website each Sunday Stay tuned for more updates on exact times and places. >OH and I have finally pried the Installments from Season 6 and 7 (thus far) from the DJs in the studio and will be posting them also as the next couple of days go by :)
