The Encounter has been uploaded as well as the second installment of the SUMMER EDITION.
The Invasion 2 and 3 have been fixed and should be able to be downloaded and they are still sweet!
The visitor is now becoming available for download!
Meaning that the first installment is now up and the rest are on there way!
If I add one more exclamation point followed by a spacing I am going to freak.
Whew.
We have fixed the sixth and final episode of The Andalite Chronicles, written by KA Applegate, and read for you by the staff of ARD.
We apologize for the delay and insist on assuring you that this was all a clever attempt at being funny and prolonging the suspense. We did not screw up in any way, shape, or form...Kyle did.
For those of you who check out this site and are not currently part of our Facebook Group you may not have heard....We are now back on the air....Whoot.
Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored has moved to Wednesday nights at 8:00pm (PST). We are currently close to almost maybe perhaps finishing the fifth book in the series, The Predator. Tune in at kdup.up.edu
SECOND, We have updated this site. The Encounter is up, as well as The Message and The Visitor: Installment 2 has been fixed. Also, the Second Season has begun and the first two episodes are up for grabs.
Peace Out Homies and keep Animorphs alive!
The Capture is available for download. It has finally been taken off of the studio computer, put on mine, compressed and uploaded...so enjoy. Also, you might notice that we have a "Dedicated Show" on the menu. This is also The Capture, except that it is split up into 15(ish) minute segments, has some other editing done to it, and is dedicated to Ms. Beede's 4th grade class at Mooberry Elementary in Hillsboro.
Anyway...there you go.
We figured since it is the time for resolutions and stuff we might as well try to make one. We resolve to keep our website more up to date from now on. Since we picked such an awesomely inconvenient time to have our show last semester, we realized that a lot of our listeners were unable to tune in. So, it turns out that last season we probably should have tried a little harder to keep things running. Thus, the resolution.
However, I figure since we have a disclaimer on the show, we might as well have a disclaimer on this as well. We have made this a resolution since resolutions are meant to be adamantly upheld for the first few weeks of the new year...that should put us around where we usually start falling behind...so we'll see how this thing goes.
Anyway, I am currently updated the website and will be sending out a message over Facebook to our group members. If you are not part of the Facebook group we strongly encourage you to remedy this. The group is called Animorphs: The Radio Drama. We use this thing to keep people up to date on our updating and remind listeners to listen and other sorts of things. Anyway its pretty cool.
Wow this is turning into a novel......I am going to go ahead and stop now.
Peace Out from the ATRD Staff.
Yes that is a movie reference...
More importantly, the website is back up and running. Now all you folks who are just starting to experience the awesomeness that is Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored can checkout the shows that we have had up for ages. For those of you who have already listened to everything we have posted...You get to listen to them again...and let's face it, who doesn't want to do that......put your hand down.
Seriously though (*snicker*) we have several shows that have not been uploaded yet. Whether those are episodes from past seasons that have mysteriously been left out (Book 9: Installment 3) or those that were lost in translation from our creative brains, to the microphone, to the computer, to the FTP site, and finally to the Website. Also, DJs Matthew and Jason have been continuing to broadcast the show these last few months on Sundays at 6:00pm PST (www.kdup.up.edu) and have been recording their sessions (I think). Also, DJ CJ, Matthew and I recorded another Summer Edition, as many of you may have heard due to some rumors that have been leaked through the media and such, which was not posted before the website went down. Currently the Staff is discussing the plan of action which will be acted upon once planned to collect and post these missing items. In the meantime, enjoy our old stuffs and tune in on Sundays at 6.
Peace!
As many of you may know already, DJs Matthew CJ and I recorded a summer edition this past summer and promised that it would be awesome. You may have also noticed that the promised season 3.05 was never released. Fortunately, I have the excuse of our website going down right around the time that I was planning to be finished with the project. But, since I like to pretend that I am honest, it probably would not have been posted on time anyways.
NOW! I am here to announce that over the Christmas break, the ARTD group is planning on getting together to do some off campus recording again. As far as I know the main plan is to re-record some of those shows that you may have noticed are missing. No promises on what will get done and what will be finished later or even whether what will end up on the website will be worth the space that it takes up on your computers. But, we will be doing...something. On top of that I plan to release Season 3.05 as a Christmas/New Years present...which is pretty cool I guess.
Anyway, just FYI.
Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored - Summer Edition 3.05 has finally been completed. You will find the last three episodes of the third and last book of the David Trilogy available for download on the right.
Next on the To Do List: Get all of the episodes that have been done up and ready to go.
Working on this....I will let you know when it gets done, but for an update on the progress-
The Secret: Installment 3 - found and uploaded for those that want to finally put that book to sleep
The Forgotten: Installment 1 - Lost. But, don't worry! CJ, Matthew and I got together over the Winter Break with a few friends and recorded it again. I am starting the editing process......Now!
The Forgotten: Installment 2 - Re-uploaded minus the abrupt cutoff when the phone rang.
The Forgotten: Installment 4 - .......To Be Announced. When we got together over Christmas I was pretty sure we found all the missing episodes except The Forgotten 1, but somehow, we misplaced the file again. We are looking for it.
Season 4 - The latest season is currently being collected and sifted through. It will be up in the near future.
Thanks and enjoy what we got! PEACE!
...That we acually post some news on this webpage. It has been far to long since we did anything besides post new shows on the website (and honestly, its been far to long since we did that either :) ). We do most of our communication through our Facebook group (Animorphs: the Radio Drama) so the postings on the webpage tend to be forgotten. Unfortunately, I don't think everyone who has listened to our show has joined that group so there are (let's see 20 people per computer 26 computers listening per show (at least) minus 268) 252 people who have been left out of the loop....plus or minus a few thousand people. So, I will try to make an effort to post more on this thing.
The big topic that my fellow ARDU DJs have been discussing most recently is our next Summer Edition. Season 5.55555555... is scheduled to to be recorded on the weekend of August 14. We have not yet officially landed on a book/set of books to read, but we are hammering out the details for the official sit down. The ARDU Pow-wow if you will. Rest assured that this will be epic. Summer is our favorite time of year, and therefore, ergo, Summer Editions are our favorite thing to do (Sad...I know). The one thing we can't, and never will, guarantee is the time this summer edition will be released. I have hopes that it will not take as long as the last one. I was a little distracted last summer, but I have gone through enough therapy and counseling to be able to settle down now, so we will see.
Another item on the list is next year. As far as I know, the show will still go on. DJs Jason and Stephen will be joined by some young blood (I think) in order to keep the show on its feet. As for air time, I don't know what they are thinking, but probably the weekend at some point. School starts at the end of August at UP and KDUP officially opens two weeks after that, once DJs get their paperwork in. So, more info coming soon I guess.
Next item, the Alternamorphs. There was talk of trying to read one or both of those this summer as well, but sadly it has been put on the back burner. DJ Jason was the one spear heading that idea and he has found that his summer is a little more jam-packed than he had anticipated. So, my guess is that those books are going to be put on hold for some time. Truth is, we kinda through that book on the air as filler because we had about 8 pages left in the book that we brought and 2 hours worth of show. So, it was kind of thrown together on the fly. Anyway, don't get your hopes up for that right now.
That seems like enough to be getting on with for now. I will fill you in on more details after I am filled in. Contrary to what people may have assumed - since I keep up the website, the uploading, and the procrastinating of doing either of those tasks - I am usually the last to find out what the plan is. SO, you are caught up to where I am.
Peace out homies.
I know I told you all I was going to post more often, and this posting makes that official...since we usually leave more than a couple months between news updates. I figured today was a good day to throw up a news flash since Season 6 is about to get underway this evening! So, here goes the news:
First: Since you are reading this, you may notice that our website is back in black. We we will most likely drop off the interwebs on an annual basis. The issue is that our web space is paid for on a yearly basis, so it kinda sneaks up on us every year. Then it takes a few days for me and the webmaster to touch base on the issue and then a couple more to get the billing taken care of. Hopefully, we will get better at this as we get older...but don't count on it.
Two: As many of you may have heard on the Facebook group, DJs Matthew, CJ and myself have recently recorded a Summer Edition: Season 5.5555...... The Fringe of Civilization. We have been editing like crazy since laying down the raw material and will most likely be posting the episodes in the near future. The problems we are running into aren't very big, but they involve different schedules, dead phones, a DJ in Boston, and an inability to not try and make this season as epic as possible. Rest assured, we are aiming to post before Christmas this year (since a Summer Edition released in the winter was kinda lame). Also, keep your ears pealed for some news about a trailer for this season. Once we are getting close to posting the first episode we plan on releasing a teaser trailer to remind people that we are doing this thing...because more than likely you all will forget by the time we are done...just kidding.....but seriously.
MOVING ON!
C - As stated at the top of the page, Season 6 will be starting up this evening. Just to clarify, there was some confusion (I am talking about my own confusion here) about who the third DJ would be. I will not be reading this evening. One of my former residents and a fan of the show, who's name is also Kyle will be filling in on the Season Premiere. Also, those of you in the Facebook group have been sent an invite to the event and may have noticed that the DJs have chosen to read Book 23 - The Pretender. Since all of you know that last year the crew ended on Book 17, you have to be asking yourself, "Where did the other books go?" Well, I shall tell you. DJs Matthew, CJ and myself decided to steal the two books following Book 17 (Book 18 and Megamorphs 2) for ourselves over the summer and the DJs didn't want to kick of a new season with a Cassie book....and I am sure you all agree. SO tonight they will be bringing you the first installment of Book 23: The Pretender. A Tobias book with a rabbit on the cover...how can you go wrong? (They will find a way) So tune in tonight to http://kdup.up.edu at 10:00 PM (PCT) - 12:00 AM (PCT) and listen to the guys crack themselves up...because you know they will.
Last but definitely not least (and roman numeral III):
Animorphs rule!

Check these out! I was bored at work the other day and I thought, "You know, I should really find out what is going on in the world today?" So, naturally, I did a Google search for Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored...because that made sense at the time.
ANYWAY, not the point. The point is that I stumbled upon this great bit of "fandom" put up by fandomfrom3 at livejournal.com. These also reminded me that we had found another batch of these icons earlier this year, but I am still waiting to here back from the creator before I give props :).
I have asked, and the fan in question has given us permission to use these icons throughout our website for an undetermined length of time, so I will be adding them here and there. You may think that they are randomly placed. However, that is just an insanely well thought out ruse to throw you off of the fact that each and every one of these quotes being placed was put in that EXACT location for a very PRECISE reason! Fortunately, I will now be using my memory erasing device on all of you so that you will not remember me telling you that little tid-bit. ha-ha-haaaa.
.....where did i put that thing.........it was right here a second ago.....i mean i was looking right.................
This just in! My paragraph above was a joke! Heh heh. Get it? No? Oh well, they are randomly placed without any thought what-so-ever. Trust me.
Mad props to fandomfrom3! 'preciate the support in what we do!
Peace out all and enjoy the quotes!

AWESOME! I got permission to post these up as well. odette_river on LiveJournal posted these a while back and shot us an e-mail letting us know they were up. Great work! These are way cool. I am thinking I am going to put together a quote page for these and others I find...maybe even some of our own. These things are so cool, I started listening through the show again just to find where we say them. Anyway, thanks for the support everybody and keep up the good works.
Mad props again for odette_river! I am straight up geeking out about it!
Later all!
As I have said before, I am sorry, listeners and readers, for not posting to this website for a while. Its been a long few months. HOWEVER, I just want you all to know that we here at Animorphs: The Radio Drama, Uncensored DO care. So, to prove it, and to prove to those listeners who have noticed a lack of a summer edition being posted for a while that we are actually doing something - we present our very first trailer:
Season 5.555: The Fringe of Civilization Trailer - Download
To be honest: We didn't plan on doing this at all. But, like so many other things that we do on our show, this started as a "wouldn't it be funny if..." comment thrown out in passing. Unfortunately for us this usually means that we are going to try something new...SO here it is, the Teaser Trailer for Season 5.55555555...: The Fringe of Civilization. This season will be released in installments throughout this 2010 summer beginning sometime in June (in case your summers are weird and start either way earlier or way later than U of P's) and will be uploaded to the website each Sunday
Stay tuned for more updates on exact times and places.
>OH and I have finally pried the Installments from Season 6 and 7 (thus far) from the DJs in the studio and will be posting them also as the next couple of days go by :)
Many of you are probably wondering why we have a lot of gray-ed out episodes off to the right. And frankly you are right to wonder. So, I feel it is high time I explained the situation to the fans via a friendly post :)
First: The original triumvirate had a few episodes that went missing in the confusion of skateboarding back and forth across campus, doing the show, racing back to stop recording, darting over to the COVE for their post-production pow-wow, and finally cutting and pasting the audio into the appropriate location to await final editing and postage. So there are a few scattered episodes throughout the early season that have sadly been lost in technical void between wires and mouse-clicks.
Second: The Lost Season of Lostitude (Season 5). This was the season after CJ and myself graduated. Matthew record all (or most) of their episodes and kept them safely on the the KDUP computer in the studio. Unfortunately, Jason and Matt for got to pull the episodes off the computer when Matthew was in the middle of graduating and the University, in all of its infinite wisdom, closed Matts account as soon as they passed him his Diploma and shook his hand. Jason and the guys in the studio have been working with the campus IT people to reclaim the episodes from the clutches of security firewalls and protocol, but my hopes have been gradually diminishing.
Third: The newest episodes. The guys in the studio now-a-days had a rocky start with their recording techniques. I blame myself partly, and CJ for the rest of it, since I started off the season recording their shows and posting them when they were finished. My stream however proved to be finicky and I stopped, so the guys had to record on their own, all of a sudden like and missed a few episodes. I do, however, currently have the episodes that have been recorded and am doing some tweaking to them in order to even out the peaks and valleys in the waveform and compress them to reasonable MP3 size. The only thing keeping me from finishing them is my computer...which has decided to choose NOW to start giving me trouble. I swear things start to breakdown as SOON as I need them to cooperate.
Anyways that is the scoop. If Jason, Steven and Kyle can't pull the 5th Season off the computer, we may be trying to sneak into KDUP to do some re-recording over spring break, but no promises yet. The new episodes will start getting posted tonight hopefully, but with my computer eating itself from the inside out, it may be slow going getting all of them up.
Thanks for your patience, and as SOON as we are caught up I will send word through the Facebook site, the Fan Page, and put a posting on the website.
A half hour or so late maybe, with the possibility of a mixdown issue or two, but Summer Edition 5.5 repeating has officially been kicked off (insert ninja sound-effect) hoowaah!
Use the menu on the right to navigate to The Decision: Installment 1 to get the first taste of this new season (though it does seem to be numbered a little out of order....). If you can PLEASE right-click and save as to your home computer. If a bunch of people try to listen to the stream at the same time there may be some issues =S
Check it out. Let us know what you think. Tell us what we can fix by next week so that we can make the adjustments to the next episode (or at least try to) so that you don't have to suffer through something again (that is if the trying is successful).
Enjoy! (See the quick link below to navigate directly to the download page)
